American pickles
Director:
Plot:
Directed by photographer Brandon Trost, who often collaborates with Rogan, it is based on the novella "SellOut" published in The New Yorker in 2013 and written by Simon Rich. One of Logan's two roles is Herschel Greenbaum, a laborer who immigrated to the United States in the 1920s, who accidentally fell into a vat of pickles and was pickled for a hundred years, keeping it in perfect shape. Now, 100 years later, Greenbaum wakes up in Brooklyn, New York, and his body has not aged in the slightest. He goes to look for his current family, only to find that only his great-grandson, Ben Greenbaum (also played by Logan), is still alive. Ben was a gentle programmer ape, and Herschel couldn't understand him at all.
